What are the responsibilities and job description for the Universal Banker/ Teller position at Key Community Bank?
Teller/Customer Service
· Provide the highest quality of service to the existing customer base while developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
· Process customer transactions of all types through teller window in an accurate and efficient manner
· Perform additional other teller duties as needed: selling of cashier’s checks and gift cards, redeeming savings bonds, ATM balancing, and additional duties as assigned by supervisor
· Answer incoming calls and respond to customer needs
· Accurate daily balancing of teller cash drawer, branch coin machine, and branch vault
· Assist customers with entry into their Safe Deposit Boxes
· Scanning & filing of various account documents according to the bank’s retention policy and schedule
· Provide the highest quality of service to the existing customer base and develop and maintain strong customer relationships by being the Bank’s first point of contact.
· Assist clients with debit card, online and mobile banking issues (e.g. locked-out accounts, PINS, BillPay, e-Statements, etc.) both on the phone and in person.
· Assist in the verification of daily maintenance and new account review to ensure accuracy.
· Develop in-depth knowledge of bank products and services in order to assist customers.
· Develop and maintain knowledge of compliance requirements, especially as they relate to deposit accounts.
· Open and service deposit accounts.
- Generate new business for the bank by establishing new customer relationships that result in loan and deposit growth.
- Sell ancillary products and services.
Compliance & Regulatory
· Adherence to bank policies and procedures
· Develops and maintains knowledge of regulatory compliance and internal controls necessary to perform all job functions
· Complete assigned training in a timely manner.
Experience and Education
· 1- 3 years prior banking experience with focus on customer service, and teller roles
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
