Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Screen Printing Press Operator role based in Kewanna, IN. The Screen Printing Press Operator will set up, operate, and monitor screen printing presses to produce decals, labels, tags, and related products according to job specifications and quality standards. Daily tasks include preparing screens, inks, and materials; aligning and registering artwork; performing test prints; and adjusting press settings to ensure accurate color and print quality. The role also involves inspecting finished products, troubleshooting minor mechanical or print issues, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and performing routine equipment maintenance. The operator will work closely with production and design teams to meet deadlines, manage multiple jobs in the queue, and support continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Hands-on skills in Print Production and Printing, with the ability to set up, run, and monitor presses safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Screen Printing processes, including screen preparation, ink mixing, registration, and quality control.
- Experience or familiarity with Embroidery or other decoration methods is a plus for supporting broader production needs.
- Basic understanding of Print Design principles to interpret artwork specifications, layouts, and color requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, including accurate measurement, color matching, and inspection of finished products.
- Ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and safely operate production equipment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow written instructions, job tickets, and safety procedures.
- Prior experience in a print shop, manufacturing, or similar production environment preferred; on-the-job training may be provided.
