Mitsubishi Product Specialist (Commercial)

Through its Mitsubishi Product Division (MPD), the business represents Mitsubishi’s industry-leading VRF and ductless HVAC solutions, supporting mechanical contractors, mechanical engineers and even architects across commercial, residential and light commercial markets.
The Role
We are seeking a Mitsubishi Product Specialist (Commercial) to take ownership of sales growth, project support and overall Mitsubishi business performance across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This is a field-facing role suited to a technically strong, commercially minded professionals who enjoys building relationships, supporting customers and driving market share.
You will act as the Mitsubishi subject matter expert in your territory, supporting contractors and internal sales teams with product application, system design, quoting and project development, while working closely with the Business Development Manager to execute growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow all Mitsubishi business within your assigned market, with a primary focus on VRF commercial systems and ductless M&P (residential and light commercial) solutions.
- Act as the Mitsubishi subject matter expert, visiting and consulting with mechanical contractors and engineers accounts on product selection, system design and application.
- Produce project quotations, system designs and efficiency comparisons using Mitsubishi tools including Design System Builder and Energy Estimator, along with other sales and marketing resources.
- Proactively cultivate new customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Lead, train and support internal outside sales teams and branch personnel with application support, product training and guidance on system selection and quoting.
- Support customers in maximising Mitsubishi marketing programs, incentives and available resources.
- Act as a liaison between Mitsubishi vendor partners, internal management teams and the customer base, coordinating with technical, marketing and leadership stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager to plan and execute growth strategies, sales targets and market share expansion.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to leadership to support continuous improvement.
- Assist in mentoring and developing other Mitsubishi Product Specialists within the market, leading by example.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
