What you will do:
- Quickly get up to speed with new technologies and products
- Design, test, and evaluate electro‑mechanical components and subsystems
- Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance analyses
- Conduct structural and performance simulations to validate mechanical designs
- Partner with a cross-functional team of technical, business and manufacturing subject matter experts
- Proactively identify and close knowledge gaps
- Follow all KDP policies and procedures.
- Salary Range: $62,500 - $85,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 0-2 years of professional experience in a relevant industry
- 3D design / modeling (SolidWorks)
- Component and assembly design analysis
- Mechanical engineering theory including kinematics, dynamics, fluids and heat transfer
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- An aptitude for creating and presenting data-based trade-off studies as input for decisions
- Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly principles and best practices
- System or subsystem modeling and simulation
- Understanding of plastic part design for injection molding
- High volume consumer product design experience
- Teamcenter experience
- Advanced 3D Modeling
- Design for Six Sigma practices including Root Cause Analysis, 8D, A3, Design of Experiments, etc.
