POSITION: SUBSTITUTE NURSE        

LOCATION: DISTRICT WIDE

GENERAL INFORMATION:  Kettering City Schools is accepting applications for Substitute Nurses to work on an as needed basis. Applicants must have a valid Ohio Board RN Nurse License, and a valid CPR and First Aide Certificate. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List

1. Conducts health screenings and tests.
2. Refers students for medical and dental care.
3. Maintains up-to-date cumulative health records.
4. Provides care for ill and injured students.
5. Collaboration and problem solving skills

QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List

1. BAchelor’s Degree
2. Valid Ohio Professional Nurses License
3. Valid Ohio Driver’s License
4. Valid Pupil Services Registration
5. Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening

SALARY: Per approved salary schedule.
