WAGES:                     $26 – $28 per hour

JOB STATUS:            FT / Salary

SCHEDULE:               Monday – Friday 8:00- 4:00

 

 

Position Summary:

 

The GADOL Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Director, Assistant Director, Operations and Program Manager in the implementation and ongoing quality of GADOL programs. This position ensures that programming is engaging, safe, and accessible for all participants while supporting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) through hands-on guidance, training, and onboarding. The Program Coordinator will conduct regular site visits to activities, monitor program quality and data collection, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. Additionally, the Coordinator assists the QIDP in ensuring accurate and timely data collection on all program and behavioral goals.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Director, Assistant Director, and Program Managers to ensure effective implementation of all GADOL programs.
  • Conduct regular site visits to program locations and community activities to monitor accessibility, safety, and participant engagement.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to Program Managers and the Assistant Director on program quality and participant experience.
  • Support the development of innovative programming that aligns with participant needs and organizational goals.
  • Assist with the onboarding and orientation of new DSPs, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to be successful.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and guidance to DSPs.
  • Support DSPs in understanding program expectations, participant goals, and best practices in service delivery.
  • Help identify training needs and assist in the development and facilitation of ongoing professional development sessions.
  • Assist the QIDP in ensuring accurate and consistent data collection on all program and behavior goals.
  • Monitor data collection related to participant outcomes, program goals, and behavior plans to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Support DSPs and Program Managers in effective data entry and tracking within required systems (e.g., Therap).
  • Review data trends to help identify areas of success and opportunities for additional support or intervention.
  • Ensure all activities meet safety, accessibility, and programmatic standards.
  • Report and assist in addressing any concerns related to program quality, participant safety, or staff performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of site visits, training sessions, and program feedback.
  • Act as a liaison between DSPs and management to promote open communication and a positive work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the QIDP to ensure program documentation supports participant goals and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and planning sessions.
  • Contribute to a culture of respect, inclusion, and excellence across all levels of the program.
Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
  • Experience supporting or supervising Direct Support Professionals preferred.
  • Experience with data collection and documentation systems (e.g., Therap) strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to guide, support, and inspire DSPs in their roles.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, accessibility, and engagement.
  • Uses data to support decision-making and enhance program outcomes.
  • Works effectively with QIDPs, management, and staff at all levels.
  • Flexible and responsive to changing needs and priorities.
  • Maintains confidentiality and models ethical behavior at all times.
