Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to join our team at Keshequa Central School. As a Teacher Aide, you will work closely with our teaching staff to provide classroom support and assistance to students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing instructional materials and setting up the classroom environment
- Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times
- Help maintain student records, take attendance, and complete other administrative tasks as needed
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school administration
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
Job Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or some college coursework preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teachers
