Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process returned products according to company policy.
- Determine the condition of returned items and classify them appropriately (restock, damaged, return to vendor, etc.).
- Accurately update return records in the inventory system.
- Communicate with customer service and/or manager regarding return authorizations.
- Prepare and package items for return to stock, when necessary.
- Maintain clean, organized return areas and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in monthly inventory counts and other warehouse duties as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., fulfillment, production, shipping, receiving) to resolve return discrepancies.
