Our Niagara Falls, NY location is a chemical production facility that produces organic salts, including propionates and acetates, serving pharmaceutical, food, feed and technical industries. With this long-standing and fully automated manufacturing site, Kerry offers world class quality products to a global market. Our products fill vital needs in a broad range of applications that are essential to everyday life including food preservation, antibiotic formulation, dialysis treatment, energy production and more.

Education Associate’s degree required in Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Knowledge Basic understanding of chemistry and analytical methods. Experience in good laboratory practices.
Experience Needed 3-5 years laboratory experience required. Quality investigation or environmental monitoring experience a plus.
Skills and Abilities Analytical, decisive, multi-tasked, and goal-oriented individual is required with the ability to manage time and resources.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $30.00 to $37.00 - per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement. - Analysis of raw materials, intermediates and finished products
- Accurate, timely, and complete record keeping
- Timely communication to Production for non-conforming material
- Special testing as requested
- Monitoring and replenishing lab consumables
- Maintenance and calibration of lab instruments
- Preparation and standardization of lab solutions
- Oversee development and revision of test procedures
- Inspection of raw materials documentation
What will you need to be successful?
