About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative RD&A Senior Scientist to join our Beverage team. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing beverage formulations across a variety of formats, including sparkling, still, juice, coffee/tea, and functional beverages.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, excellent sensory capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to drive product innovation and deliver solutions that meet both customer and business expectations.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and prepare beverage formulations, syrups, and concentrates at lab and pilot‑plant scale.
- Test, refine, and optimize formulations to meet targeted taste profiles, functionality, and regulatory requirements.
- Customize beverage ingredients independently and in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Calculate calories and understand the role of sweeteners, nutrients, and functional ingredients in formulations.
- Coordinate and facilitate sample shipments for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support beverage and taste development in compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Apply advanced formulation techniques for RTD (Ready‑to‑Drink) and RTM (Ready‑to‑Make) beverage formats.
- Use strong sensory skills to define, discriminate, and adjust flavor profiles under tight timelines.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of beverage processing techniques and nutritional value calculations.
- Communicate formulation concepts and technical recommendations effectively in customer‑facing commercial settings.
- Apply mathematical skills to work with dilutions, percentages, and ppm calculations.
- Show initiative, self‑motivation, and resourcefulness in solving complex formulation challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related applied science.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in beverage development and formulation.
- Strong scientific, technical, and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
