Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the safe and efficient startup, shutdown, cleaning and overall operation of reactors in the plant
Startup, shutdown, and monitor reactors as per production scheduling
Clean and change out filters for all reactors and surge tanks every 3-6 hour
Clean and scrap out reactors when temperatures are out of spec to ensure proper operation.
Monitor reactors temperature, feed rate, cooling water temp, and surge bin levels
Prepare orders for delivery by filling containers with specified material and amounts
Perform other related duties as assigned by shift supervisor
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures such as safety, cleaning, etc

Physical requirements of this job include, but are not limited to:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment
Must be able to stand and walk
Must be able to lift and carry at least 50lbs
Must be able to climb stairs
Others - Twist, Bend, Squat, Reach, Push/Pull, Hot/Cold environment
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to work 4 on 4 off schedule; 12 hours per day
Ability to operate and understand computer hardware and software as it relates to the operation and control of this process
Ability to operate a forklift
The pay range for this position is $22 - $23.50 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
