Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Support cooking and plating of dishes according to established standards
- Bussing tables and clearing dining areas efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas by cleaning utensils, equipment, and surfaces
- Help with catering setup and breakdown for events or banquets
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet safety standards
- Support serving staff during busy service periods as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols
- Experience with food handling and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
