KerberRose Human Resources is partnering with an established and growing equipment dealership in the Beaver Dam area to identify an Equipment Sales Representative to join their team. About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to develop your own customer relationships, represent a well-known equipment portfolio, and have a direct impact on the continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new commercial, agricultural, and residential customers for construction equipment, tractors, utility vehicles, and related equipment.
Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, equipment demonstrations, quoting, negotiating, and closing.
Develop strong working knowledge of the dealership's equipment lineup, financing programs, promotions, and competitive products.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, landscapers, farmers, municipalities, property owners, and other customers.
Coordinate equipment delivery, financing documentation, and trade-in appraisals with internal dealership teams.
Work toward established sales goals for units, gross margin, attachments, and related products.
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within the dealership's CRM system.
Participate in manufacturer training and product launches to stay current on equipment and industry trends.
Represent the dealership at trade shows, industry events, and community events as needed.
Partner closely with service and parts teams to provide an excellent customer experience before, during, and after the sale.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Skills
2 years of experience in construction equipment, agricultural/heavy equipment, commercial vehicle sales, or a comparable outside sales role preferred.
Familiarity with construction equipment, compact tractors, diesel-powered equipment, or related products.
Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, negotiate, and close sales.
Comfort operating and demonstrating equipment for prospective customers.
Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
CRM or dealership management software experience is a plus.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
