Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist – On-Site (Contract)

Position Overview
KERAMIDA is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to provide on-site support for a client facility in Chino, California. This is a contract position, expected to be a full-time, on-site assignment supporting immediate EHS needs at the facility.
This role is tied directly to project demand and client needs, and is expected to be project-based in duration.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with CalOSHA and Federal, State, and district environmental regulations
· Deliver EHS training and lead incident investigations with corrective actions
· Maintain OSHA logs (300/300A/301) and safety documentation
· Manage PPE programs and support emergency planning
· Support environmental compliance and reporting (Air, Stormwater, Tier II, Form R)
· Assist with permitting and regulatory requirements
· Interface with regulatory agencies and support inspections/audits
· Provide technical support in areas such as industrial hygiene, LOTO, and respiratory protection
· Identify compliance gaps and implement practical solutions
Qualifications
Required
· 5 years of EHS experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
· Strong knowledge of CalOSHA and Federal, State and district environmental regulations
· Experience with training, incident investigations, and compliance reporting
· Ability to operate independently in an on-site role
Preferred:
· California regulatory experience
· Relevant certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM)
· Stormwater compliance experience (QISP)
· Industrial hygiene experience
