Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst will instruct and monitor the implementation of behavior programs which may include instructional strategies and techniques based on the principles of behavior analysis. The position will interact on a regular basis with students, parents, classroom teachers, assistants, school psychologists, and school district personnel.
Requirements / Qualifications
Ability to: Incorporated within one or more of the previously mentioned performance responsibilities, which are essential functions of this job description, are the following essential physical requirements: - Ability to work within an established schedule, meeting necessary timelines - Ability to exercise good judgment in emergency situations - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. - Ability to work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations. - Ability to stand for extended periods of time. - Ability to see for the purpose of reading laws and codes, rules and policies and other printed matter. - Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels. - Ability to communicate so others will be able to clearly understand a normal conversation. - Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach. Education (Minimum Requirements): - Pupil Personnel Services Credentials or Teaching Credential - Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification - Valid Driver's License, operational vehicle and insurance - Any combination of experience and training which would indicate possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: • Chronological Resume • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation • Letter of Intent
