What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rail - Transportation Manager - Arizona position at Keolis Commuter Services?
The Transportation Manager will be responsible for overseeing field operations and service delivery for a large metropolitan light rail and streetcar transit system. In doing so, they ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the rail system.
This position is contingent on contract award.
Key Accountabilities:
• Accountable for ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Oversees the day-to-day operations. This includes field supervisors, dispatchers, service quality, notifications, and higher-level support.
• Support in leading a customer-oriented culture where all staff ‘Think Like a Passenger’.
• Adheres to all local and federal (FTA) regulations and in accordance with Keolis and Agency policies.
Skills, Knowledge, & Experience:
• A minimum of 7 years of experience managing similar sized projects in a light rail or commuter transit environment. 3 years must be in a related position or program.
• College degree preferred.
• Must be a resident of proposed business (or willing to relocate).
