Parking Enforcement Driver
Parking Enforcement Drivers operate license plate recognition vehicles to support enforcement of MBTA parking policies at parking lots and garages across Massachusetts.
Location: Route 128 Garage, Westwood, MA
Schedule: 3:00pm-11:00pm, Wednesday through Sunday (Full-Time)
Knowledge and Experience:
- Must have held a valid Driver’s License for at least 2 years
- Experience with using standard IT systems (Word, Excel, Teams etc)
- Previous experience in a customer service role would be desirable
- Previous experience of working in a role involving vehicle driving would be helpful
Skills:
- Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English
- Sit for long periods
- Currently holds a valid Driver’s License in state of residency
- Strong sense of customer service
- Driving record must meet company standards
- Ability to create relationships with customers
- Time management & problem-solving skills
- Ability to report parking violations, maintenance issues etc via company reporting tools
Key Accountabilities:
- Complete allocated vehicle route between parking lots safely within allowed times
- Complete checks of parking lots in allocated time using vehicle cameras and manually report violations of the accessible, bike, or shared space policies etc.
- Report any maintenance issues using reporting system for follow up
- Assist with parking payment issues, concerns or technical difficulties when encountered at parking lots
- Assist with additional customer service and parking management duties as directed by supervisor
- Keep vehicle fueled and in a presentable condition
