Keokuk Middle School is seeking a Music Teacher/ Choir Director to lead a 6-8 music program. The ideal candidate will foster a positive classroom environment, build strong relationships with students, and build the love of music through engaging instruction and performance opportunities.
Responsibilities include delivering standards-based general music and choir instruction, directing concerts and school performances, support student growth in vocal technique and music literacy, and collaborate with staff to support the overall success of students. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong classroom management, effective communication with families, and high expectations for all learners.
In addition, the candidate will serve as the director of the Keokuk Middle School Show Choir.
