Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Analyzes orders, identifies incompatible option content, and makes recommendations to dealers/customers
- Coordinates with product engineers and dealers, as necessary, to resolve incompatibilities.
- Provides technical guidance for changes during pilot inspections and feedback related to technical information.
- Helps implement and coordinate new programs
- Manage projects for continuous improvement initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Attendance is an essential function of all positions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical data
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow through
- Strong desire to learn new roles and activities within department
- Demonstrate and maintain high level of flexibility
- Strong knowledge of heavy duty trucks is preferred
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be capable of multi-tasking
- BS degree in Engineering or Technical field is preferred
- Three to five years of truck or automotive experience with demonstrated understanding of mechanical devices and manufacturing processes
- Two years of PACCAR experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex tasks
- Familiarity of CICS system
- Proficient with Windows systems
- Must meet physical requirements of the position with or without accommodations
Education
