** 25 Hours a week

Job Summary:
The primary function of the Receptionist/Cashier is to coordinate all communications with the public and assist the District Office Manager and onsite Management with record keeping, cash sales, and paperwork.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers all incoming phone calls, directs them to the appropriate party or takes a message.
- Greet members of the public and directs them to the appropriate party or facilitates their requests.
- Maintains a courteous and efficient image in dealing with the public.
- Responsible for knowing the whereabouts of all employees during the course of business hours.
- Compiles and maintains files of purchase orders to be used to clear invoices for payment.
- Files correspondence such as shipping memos, invoices, packing slips and other records for the parts, service and sales department.
- Sorts and distributes mail daily.
- Maintains cash sales daily and sends paperwork to main office, deposits checks,electronically, prepare deposits and processes credit card deposits from truck sales department.
- Works with onsite management to receive quotes for building maintenance or for other projects.
- Oversees the Safety Committee, providing all required safety notes and documentation to the corporate Safety Director.
- Work with truck sales to complete truck files, title applications and take them to the DMV as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the District Office Manager and onsite management team.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions and information.
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Must type 50 wpm and be able to efficiently operate telephone switchboard.
- Familiarity with trucking industry, computer systems, and large databases.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position works indoors, primarily at a desk but also moving about the dealership facility to communicate with the dealer, managers, employees and customers. Excellent verbal and visual communications skills required. Must bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and feel. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
