What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver- Class A position at Kenworth Louisiana?
Driver
Summary:
The Driver drives and delivers truck (new and used), parts, materials, and/or equipment to other
facilities, customer locations, or vendor sites as the need arises.
Essential Duties:
- Drive trucks and/or ride with another driver to delivery between various locations upon
- Communicate in a timely manner with company staff as required
- Interact professionally with staff, customer, and vendors
- Maintain accurate and timely records as required by DOT federal regulations
- Comply with Federal laws pertaining to cellular phone use
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years truck driving experience
- Must have active driving experience within the past 12 months
- Valid Class "A" CDL
- Clean Driving Record is required and the ability to meet our insurance requirements
Work Environment:
This position requires the employee to drive for extended periods of time. Employees must also be
able to lift at least 50 pounds.
