Summer Season Cleaning Services Ages 16+

This position is part of our Summer Season, requiring availability from Mid-May through Labor Day. Applicants must be able to commit to working during this entire time frame.

This position is available for those ages 16 . 

Job Description: 

Park Services hosts are responsible for creating a clean and welcoming environment for guests throughout the park. Responsibilities include routine cleaning of restrooms and park grounds, maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction, and ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of the park.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms, park grounds, and all other assigned areas throughout operating day. 
• Ensure adequate levels of Tork dispensers and supplies (toilet paper, hand soap, and hand sanitizer). 
• Safely operate trash compactors per training (must be 18 ). 
• Safely operator cardboard baler per training (must be 18 ).
• Monitor trash cans, disposing of waste properly and in a timely manner.
• Monitor cardboard levels and dispose of cardboard properly.   
• Ensure trash cans, lids, and trash carts are clean, wiping as necessary.
• Ensure park grounds, including indoor areas such as queue lines, midways, landscaping, outdoor dining areas, indoor dining rooms, ordering windows, and park furniture, are free of trash, spills, and debris.
• Assist other departments with cleaning tasks as needed.   
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Park Services equipment and storage areas. 
• Open and close park umbrellas as necessary.
• Proper use of Park Services equipment.  
• Proper use of all PPE as required.
• Proper use of chemicals and detergents.  
• Arrive to work and return promptly from breaks.
• Carry and utilize a broom and dustpan to maintain cleanliness throughout the day.  
• Complete all assigned tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
• Remain in assigned work area unless otherwise authorized by leadership.  
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, including working up to 40 hours per week.

• Participation in all required training sessions.

• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to maintain dependable attendance at work.
• Ability to be productive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
•     Ability to tolerate noise and stress to accommodate assisting a large number of guests.
