Entertainment Wardrobe Personnel

Job Description:

Wardrobe Personnel in Entertainment work to help create memories through entertainment experiences that will last a lifetime for our guests. This position will show professionalism and self-motivation as well as completing tasks with little guidance.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Heartspitality qualities, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to maintain a high standard of safety, guest service, and cleanliness, and hold all team members accountable to this standard.
• Ability to identify problems and devise solutions in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and open to close.
• Operate Industrial and domestic sewing equipment
• Construct and/or alter costumes as assigned
• Clean, dry and steam costume pieces then store as appropriate
• Work with Entertainment Manager to assist and shadow with other aspects within the Entertainment Department.
• Do repairs on costumes as needed.
• Assist with smooth operation of Show Wardrobe including handing out costumes and helping with minor sewing.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to frequently move about outdoors
• Ability to frequently ascend/descend stairs
• Working knowledge of departmental and park policies.
• Altering costumes, embellishing, costuming and laundry skills
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task
• Must have 2-3 years’ experience in costuming, wardrobe.
