Duties
- Perform thorough exterior washing of vehicles using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to achieve a pristine finish.
- Conduct vehicle interior detailing, including vacuuming, upholstery cleaning, window polishing, and dashboard wiping to ensure a spotless interior environment.
- Follow safe work practices at all times, including proper handling of heavy lifting tasks and cleaning supplies to prevent injuries.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the process by applying best practices in auto detailing and custodial procedures within the auto detailing facility.
- Use cleaning equipment effectively, ensuring all tools are maintained properly for optimal performance during detailing tasks.
Experience
- Prior experience working in an auto detailing facility or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation, including driving manual transmission vehicles safely.
- Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques, automotive buffing, and the use of buffers or polishing machines is advantageous.
- Experience with janitorial or custodial work demonstrates strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling equipment or moving vehicles as part of the detailing process.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting professionally with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the service provided.
