Salary Range: $24-27/per hour
Responsibilities
Business Office Operations
- Serve as an integral member of the Business Office team, supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the school.
- Partner with the team to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of business office functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer service, and increase operational efficiency.
Student Accounts and Financial Services
- Manage student account activity, including billing, payments, cash receipts, and account reconciliation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students and families regarding billing inquiries and payment support.
- Monitor account activity and assist with collections and account resolution as needed.
Accounts Payable and Vendor Management
- Support the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment administration, and maintenance of related records.
- Maintain accurate vendor information and support annual reporting requirements, including W-9 and 1099 administration.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions in accordance with school policies and procedures.
Student Banking and Campus Services
- Administer the student banking program, including account maintenance, transaction processing, and customer support.
- Oversee the operation of the campus store, including inventory management, purchasing, sales, and textbook programs.
- Coordinate seasonal and special initiatives, such as textbook buyback programs.
Administrative Support and Professional Growth
- Provide general administrative support to the Business Office as needed.
- Participate in special projects and other assignments that support the strategic and operational goals of the school.
- Pursue opportunities for professional development and assume additional responsibilities as skills and experience grow.
Qualifications and Experience
- Associates degree in Accounting or relevant work experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
