As Store Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the retail operation, ensuring the store runs efficiently, safely, and profitably. You’ll lead the team, drive results, and manage daily operations in alignment with company policies and procedures, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for both customers and associates.

Facility Management
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance across the store, warehouse, pole buildings, equipment, vehicles, and grounds to uphold a positive company image
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment for customers and team members
- Oversee and ensure all store and operational equipment is properly maintained and fully operational
- Optimize store and grounds layouts to maximize sales floor utilization and customer flow
- Oversee merchandise displays to drive sales performance, accounting for seasonal assortments and customer traffic patterns
- Coordinate in-store merchandising and displays to align with company advertising and promotional campaigns
- Increase store traffic and sales through the execution of company-provided promotions and engaging in-store programs
- Deliver ongoing sales training and product knowledge development to store associates
- Monitor competitor pricing and merchandising strategies to support competitive price positioning
- Evaluate and test new products to assess market potential and customer demand
- Order products using appropriate forms in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Maintain merchandise by adding or dropping lines or items indicated by turn numbers
- Maintain inventories at desired levels for maximum turnover and profitability
- Determine prices and proper margin levels for merchandise
- Adjust and maintain prices to conform to price changes by suppliers
- Oversee the handling of claims for damaged or returned goods
- Approve all invoices for payment
- Ensure all goods and services invoiced have been received
- Maintain security over daily cash and bank deposits
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree with five (5) years of retail experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory role, or a Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of retail management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Proven track record as a Retail Store Manager with experience leading and directing multiple teams (3–5)
- Agriculture background with management experience and strong merchandising skills preferred
- Working knowledge of lawn and garden, agriculture, and animal care products (pet and livestock)
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams with a positive, results-oriented management approach
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a high level of professionalism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
