In this role, you will be the key point of contact for our clients, managing cargo shipments, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer interactions and maintain accurate documentation to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Quote, book, and track domestic and international shipments.
- Collaborate with warehouse and other departments to handle shipments efficiently.
- Assist the sales team in resolving customer issues, identifying opportunities, and supporting retention efforts.
- Assign and delegate tasks to maximize team productivity and departmental efficiency.
- Maintain a high level of organization, time management, and problem-solving.
- Work independently or as part of a team as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in logistics, air freight, or export is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Eligible to pass TSA background check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and basic computer skills.
- Strong geographic knowledge for determining efficient freight routes.
- Excellent customer service and vendor relations skills, both over the phone and in-person.
