What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at KENT DENVER COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL?
Kent Denver is currently seeking educators for its substitute teaching list. We are looking for candidates that have at least a bachelor’s degree, some experience supervising students in a middle school or upper school classroom setting, interest in quality education, and the belief in the critical importance of diversity in the life of a school. We seek substitute teachers who can provide coverage for both planned and short-notice absences of our regular instructors. We would like our substitute teachers to be personable, bright, organized, reliable, interested, and interesting.
We are especially interested in educators who can substitute teach for STEM subjects or world languages (French, Spanish or Chinese).

Applicants should provide both a resume and a letter of interest, which should describe the availability of the applicant for substitute teaching, the applicant’s experience in education, and the academic disciplines and age levels for which the applicant can provide substitute coverage.
