Job Description
- Recruit and assess staffing needs.
- Maintain/update Employee Handbook to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Supervises employees, maintains files, coordinates schedules, reviews/approves timecards, and manages offboarding.
- Oversee/manage employees and conduct annual and 90-day reviews
- Liaison with the firm's business insurers.
- Assist attorneys in renewal and update requirements to the State Bar of California and the Secretary of State.
- Maintain the firm's case list.
- Interact with vendors, plan and coordinate Firms participation in events.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to multitask.
- Must have outstanding organizational and proofreading skills, attention to detail, demonstrated good judgment, confidentiality, discretion, and a proactive work ethic.
- Understanding of litigation processes/terminology and workflow is required.
- Strong proofreading and time management skills are needed.
