As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting employment events for an assigned location. This role supports new hire onboarding, IT equipment deployment and setup for craft professionals, and fielding employee questions related to payroll, employee benefits, safety PPE requests, and updates to employee profiles. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support divisional leadership with new hire onboarding scheduling.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, I-9 paperwork, and pre-employment drug screens.
- Partner with IT for hardware provisioning for field leaders.
- Assist Safety with PPE distribution to new hires, and as requested by employees.
- Assist employees with change requests related to their employment profile (change of address, direct deposit setup, tax withholdings, etc.).
- Answer routine employee questions regarding company policies, payroll questions, and benefit enrollment/inquiry support.
- Assist the broader HR team with projects/data audits.
- Partner with HR leadership for all escalated employee issues.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and Office team as needed.

Required Experience, Education, and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR information systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in a data entry role, preferably with an HR or shared service center environment.
- Must have reliable transportation to the workplace(s)/ job location(s).
- Ability to pass drug screening.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred education and experience
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
