The Role
This is a hands-on quality position with responsibility across inspection, calibration, documentation, compliance, and quality system support. You will work closely with production and cross-functional teams to ensure products meet strict internal and external quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform gage calibration and maintain accurate calibration records
Inspect parts using hard gaging, variable gaging, CMM, and vision systems
Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
Assist with compliance activities related to ISO 13485:2016 and FDA QMSR
Carry out internal audits and support audit readiness
Manage non-conformance reporting and scrap tracking processes
Work within the ERP system to support quality documentation and traceability
Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve quality issues
Ensure products and processes meet regulatory, customer, and internal quality requirements
Requirements
Experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
Medical device experience is highly desirable
Strong understanding of inspection methods, measurement tools, and quality processes
Familiarity with ISO standards, ideally ISO 13485
Experience using CMM and or vision systems preferred
Comfortable using Excel, Word, and general computer systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail
Proactive and team-oriented approach
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing setting
