Onsite Position in Thorp WI. 7:00am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday. OT as needed on Fridays.

Overview
- Perform dimensional inspections to product requirements (incoming, in-process and final) by matching components to engineering drawing and specifications.
- Participate in the implementation of product quality improvement initiatives to reduce process variation and prevent defects.
- Identifies raw material condition by collecting material samples; conducting inspections and requesting testing as required.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to prioritize projects and the flexibility to deal with interruptions and reprioritize as needed.
- Knowledge of safety and security measures when utilizing equipment and materials.
- Performing in-process and final inspections on finished products.
- Remove all non-confirming material from production floor and prepare a log sheet for inventory adjustment.
- Must be able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to use computer equipment and software applications (MS-Office Products)
- Ability to use calibrated measuring equipment including a comparator, caliper, weight scales, height gauges, micrometers, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from the floor level up to the inspection station.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (including assembly, fabrication, and glazing).
- Support production team under supervision of production supervisors if needed.
- Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications:
Education
- Associate degree preferred will consider Tech School or High School graduates with the right skills and experience.
- 2-4 years of manufacturing experience.
- Prefer ASQ certifications (CQI & CQT) or ability to obtain certifications within 1 year.
- Prefer Yellow Lean & Yellow Six certification or ability to obtain certification in 1 year.
