About Us
We are a growing food, wine, and spirits distribution company based in Miami, FL. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and contribute to system improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key user in the implementation and ongoing use of the WMS system
- Maintain accurate inventory during system transitions and daily operations
- Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
- Partner with warehouse staff to ensure inventory is properly moved, tracked, and stored
- Conduct quality control checks, including monitoring close-dated products
- Update inventory records and support internal reporting
- Ensure proper product rotation and date control (FIFO)
- Use RF scanning systems to track and manage inventory
- Investigate and resolve variances, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Support the development and maintenance of organized inventory processes
Requirements
- Experience with WMS systems (HighJump preferred)
- Warehouse or inventory control experience preferred
- Food distribution experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and general computer skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed for operations and training
Schedule
- Full-time
- 8-hour shifts
- Sunday–Thursday
