Inventory Control Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Inventory Control Specialist with warehouse experience and excellent math and communication skills. Your responsibilities would include maintaining inventory records, conducting inventory counting processes, preparing balance and shortages reports. Developing procedures to effectively manage and maintain a company’s inventory and protocols for loss mitigation.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Inventory oversight and audits: Overseeing inventory organization and performing regular physical counts to verify stock levels
• Discrepancy resolution: Researching inventory overages and shortages, investigating discrepancies between physical counts and system records, and identifying root causes of inaccuracies
• Record maintenance: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
• Delivery coordination: Managing deliveries and collaborating with purchasing and receiving teams to ensure accurate recording of incoming and outgoing merchandise
• Process improvement: Identifying inventory control process issues and coordinating with managers to implement improvements
• Loss prevention: Implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss
• Data analysis: Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and optimization opportunities
• Reporting: Generating and analyzing reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and other relevant metrics
• Perform other duties as directed
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, or related software
• WMS and ERP experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Monday -Friday

• $45K-$55K annually based on experience
