Your responsibilities would include maintaining inventory records, conducting inventory counting processes, preparing balance and shortages reports. Developing procedures to effectively manage and maintain a company’s inventory and protocols for loss mitigation.
Responsibilities & Duties

Your responsibilities would include maintaining inventory records, conducting inventory counting processes, preparing balance and shortages reports. Developing procedures to effectively manage and maintain a company’s inventory and protocols for loss mitigation.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Inventory oversight and audits: Overseeing inventory organization and performing regular physical counts to verify stock levels
- Discrepancy resolution: Researching inventory overages and shortages, investigating discrepancies between physical counts and system records, and identifying root causes of inaccuracies
- Record maintenance: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
- Delivery coordination: Managing deliveries and collaborating with purchasing and receiving teams to ensure accurate recording of incoming and outgoing merchandise
- Process improvement: Identifying inventory control process issues and coordinating with managers to implement improvements
- Loss prevention: Implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss
- Data analysis: Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and optimization opportunities
- Reporting: Generating and analyzing reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and other relevant metrics
- Perform other duties as directed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, or related software
- WMS and ERP experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
