Purpose: The Electrical Apprentice position is responsible for electrical wiring for equipment, appliances, apparatuses and fixtures.

Essential Duties Include The Following
- Adhere to all company safety policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures
- Attend IEC instruction and maintain passing grades to enhance your skills
- Study and stay updated with current NEC code knowledge
- Perform other assigned duties with a proactive attitude
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Possess the necessary personal tools for the job
- Maintain schooling requirements to further your career
- Be a mechanically inclined self-starter who is eager to learn and grow
- Able to work off all types of ladders, lifts and elevated platforms (electric or gas powered)
- Able to work at various heights up to 50 feet from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks, or other safe work areas
- Able to work in restricted areas, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces and attics
- Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead
- Able to carry tools and materials up to 50 pounds from the ground to overhead
- Able to constantly move on feet, climbing ladders and working overhead
- Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
- Able to get to customer job sites
