Responsibilities include delivering timely, high-quality research, serving as a lead resource for assigned practice groups and strategic initiatives, mentoring Research Analysts, and supporting attorney training on AI-assisted research methods and risk awareness. The role also monitors legal and regulatory developments, contributes to firm communications, and partners with leadership on research tools, AI governance, process improvements, and special projects.
The ideal candidate has a J.D., MLS or MLIS, has 5 years of research experience preferably with a large law firm, demonstrates professionalism and mentorship of junior researchers, possesses strong analytical and communication skills, has advanced proficiency with AI powered research tools, and utilizes a collaborative, solution-oriented approach to supporting internal and external stakeholders.
This hybrid position can be based out of the Washington, DC, Boston, Los Angeles or Palo Alto office with a salary range of $98,000 - $141,000 (depending on the location) and benefits including a 401k with company match and profit-sharing options!
