For more than 30 years, our client has been dedicated to transforming the lives of homeless families throughout the greater Boston area. They are seeking a passionate and relationship-focused Major Gifts Officer to lead and grow the organization's major gifts program.
The Major Gifts Officer will manage a portfolio of more than 150 donors, cultivate meaningful relationships through personalized engagement strategies, conduct donor meetings, support fundraising events, and help expand the organization's donor pipeline. This role will work closely with the Development and Marketing Team to meet and exceed fundraising goals while advancing the organization's mission.
Qualified candidates will have at least eight years of fundraising experience with a proven track record securing six- and seven-figure gifts, strong knowledge of individual and planned giving strategies, experience working with board-level volunteers, and proficiency in donor database management.
This full-time hybrid position offers a schedule of four days in the office and one remote day each week. The salary range is $100,000-$125,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage with the organization paying 70-75% of premiums.
