Join a global packaging manufacturer that is expanding its U.S. retail business. We're seeking an energetic Account Manager to grow grocery and supermarket accounts and help build our presence with major retailers across the country.
In this role, you'll manage and expand key accounts, drive new business, and lead presentations and negotiations with senior procurement teams. Sales cycles are competitive and cost-driven, so persistence, confidence, and strong negotiation skills are essential. You'll work closely with U.S. support teams and manufacturing partners to deliver solutions and meet ambitious sales targets and KPIs.
The ideal candidate has three or more years of B2B sales experience selling to retailers, preferably in grocery, with a proven record of growing territory and winning in competitive, price-sensitive environments. Packaging experience isn't required-comprehensive product and sustainability training is provided.
This hybrid role is based in the greater Boston area: full-time in office during training, then one day per week. Base salary is approximately $90,000-$120,000 plus commission, company car or allowance, and strong benefits.
