What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Coverage Attorney position at Kennedys?
Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global law firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking motivated and dynamic attorneys to join its national and international insurance coverage practice. The position is based in Fort Lauderdale or Miami, as our culture fosters global collaboration daily.
Our ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant diverse coverage experience, a strong litigation background, experience analyzing coverage issues, drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions, and conducting discovery in insurance coverage litigation. Experience in third party insurance coverage matters and insurance coverage litigation, as well as practical case management experience in federal court is preferred. Experience with tasks such as taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, or arguing motions is helpful, but not required.

Competitive salary, annual performance-based raises, discretionary bonus, and benefits package offered. 1920 hour requirement. Will consider hybrid work arrangements.
The annualized salary range for this role is $130,000-$220,000; however, actual salary is contingent upon level of experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
