Cozen O'Connor's Global Insurance Department seeks an attorney with 3-5 years of insurance coverage and defense experience to join its Miami or Fort Lauderdale office. The ideal candidate will have experience litigating personal injury and liability disputes, handling insurance coverage matters, and working on a broad range of insurance-related claims. The candidate must have experience taking depositions, attending court conferences and hearings, drafting coverage opinions, and drafting and arguing motions. Strong legal research and writing skills and excellent academic credentials are required. Candidates with deposition and trial experience are preferred, but it is not essential. Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
