We are hiring for an experienced Lead Painter/Project Manager to work with our team. We’re seeking a career minded individual to work with the owner one on one as Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple projects.

Our candidate will have 3 years of professional painting experience working on new construction and existing sites, excellent verbal and written communication skills, will emulate our company’s values, and have skills to provide training and guidance to other team members.

As lead painter, they will be responsible to organize and oversee projects on site, ensuring that each project is completed safely, on time, within budgetary constraints and to the satisfaction of the client.

Our goal is to provide professional painting services to clients and contractors, while maintaining a positive work atmosphere. We have maintained great working relationships between our crew and clients over the years, and have grown to have a good reputation for delivering high-quality finishes.

We primarily work on Residential projects for both homeowners and contractors. This will include:

  • New Construction / Remodels: Interior/Exterior, high-end trim-finishing, doors, cabinets, level 5 smooth wall, etc.
  • Historic Homes: We are lead certified and will occasionally come across a project that requires some lead abatement / stripping.
  • General Re-paints (interior and exterior).

Responsibilities:

  • Work with others to perform full scope, high quality finishes; from basic prep tasks to mid-range and highest skilled tasks.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and professional work area at all times.
  • Ensure that all safety regulations are followed while painting.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of the entire team by working together to understand and meet expectations.
  • Demonstrate an inclusive leadership style.
  • Maintain strict attention to detail.
  • Ensure that all team members are performing their work safely and are in adherence to company safety policies.
  • Will work individually or in a group to provide highest level finishes.
  • Assist to train lesser skilled team members on a regular basis.
  • Regular communication with the client, contractor, office, and others as business requires.
  • Will work efficiently and adopt methods to streamline jobsite performance to enhance project profitability.
  • Will monitor each crew member’s work hours, breaks, and attendance.
  • Retain and secure all paperwork, receipts, etc. from job sites in the business office.
  • Share in our values of quality, efficiency, safety, hard work and camaraderie

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 21 years of age
  • Strongly developed brush, roll and/or spray skills (with air-assist/airless sprayers and knowledge of painting tools and equipment).
  • 3 years of professional painting experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
  • Documentation to work in the United States
  • Capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Capable of and prepared to maneuver and work from extension ladders (up to 40′)
  • Prepared to work 40 hours/week
  • Wage will depend on experience and performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
