Scope of Work
Under the close supervision of the Commercial Processing and Closing Manager, the incumbent is responsible for processing and preparing loan closing documents for small business loan requests for the bank's lending team, extending to the least complex types of commercial loans as experience and workflow volume dictates. All activities will ensure that the bank remains in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory guidelines.
Essential Functions (3)
- Prepares and coordinates required documentation for commercial loan closings: Works directly with the underwriter, lending team and, as necessary outside counsel to collect and review due diligence and to prepare and coordinate the distribution of the required documentation for commercial loan closings. The incumbent will directly correspond with other Bank vendors, including attorney's, title companies and environmental companies to obtain required documentation and due diligence. Loan documents are prepared primarily using the Bank's preparation software.
- Manages Pipeline through the use of workflow application: The incumbent will efficiently and effectively manage their workflow pipeline through the current Bank's commercial loan origination system. They will attend weekly pipeline meetings of their respective lending teams.
- Orders and reviews vendor reports: Orders and reviews vendor reports to ensure borrowers are in good standing, and that the Bank has collected and verified that all necessary insurance, legal, compliance and policy requirements are met prior to closing.

- Knowledge of LaserPro commercial documentation is preferred
- Displays high level of regard for trust and confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Displays strong written and verbal communication skills
- Displays strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlines
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effectively uses analytical skills to solve technical, as well as, non-technical problems
- Prior knowledge of regulations within the financial services industry is preferred

Desired Job Experience
- 2 years in a commercial lending environment is preferred
- Experience in a professional, service focused and fast-paced environment
Desired Education
- High school or General Education Diploma
