Title: KVCC Psychology Faculty (Full-time)
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the Maine Community College System Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit.
Responsibilities: This full-time Psychology faculty position in the Social Sciences Department will begin in the Fall 2026 semester. Teaching responsibilities will include Introduction to Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Research Methods, and a variety of psychology electives. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will advise students, develop curriculum, conduct course assessment, and participate in student success and retention activities. This is a full-time, on-campus position. Course assignments may include in-person, hybrid, or online courses.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology or related discipline
- 2 years’ experience teaching Psychology courses at a post-secondary level
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in research methodology.
- Community college teaching experience
- Experience utilizing a learning management system such as Brightspace.
