Company Description Kennco Manufacturing designs and builds labor-saving farm implements for specialty and row crop growers. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Ruskin, FL. The Welder will fabricate, assemble, and repair agricultural equipment and components using various welding processes, following blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Daily tasks include preparing and positioning materials, performing welds to company quality standards, inspecting finished work for accuracy and safety, and collaborating with other team members in the shop to complete projects on schedule. The role also involves maintaining welding tools and equipment, adhering to safety procedures, and assisting with general metal fabrication tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Welding skills, including experience with multiple welding techniques.
• Candidates should possess MIG Welding skills for structural and production work.
• Candidates should possess TIG Welding and Laser Welding skills for precise and specialized fabrication tasks.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including steel and other metals commonly used in agricultural and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE and shop tools.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or equipment production is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training in welding is a plus.
