Qualifications
- Valid NJDOE Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification and appropriate elementary instructional certification required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of special education practices, IEP implementation, differentiated instruction, and effective teaching methods for early childhood/elementary learners.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive, structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Effective communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and the Child Study Team.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L.2011, Chapter 70).
