Location: Kendallville Manor – Kendallville, IN
Schedule: PRN (As Needed)
Kendallville Manor is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Kendallville, IN. What You'll Do:
Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve residents' strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence
Monitor resident progress and communicate changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and strategies to support continued progress
Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical, facility, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to support positive resident outcomes
Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Indiana
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the rehabilitation team
