Kendallville Manor is seeking a Cook to join our skilled nursing facility in Kendallville, IN.
Our cooks work alongside healthcare professionals to assist with all food service functions in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
Shift
Part-Time Day Shift including Every Other Weekend required
Responsibilities
Assist in serving meals in a timely manner
Clean worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, and kitchen equipment
Assist the cook with meal preparation
Serve food trays from carts and dining rooms
Transport dishes and trays to the dishwashing area
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Follow food safety and infection control procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous dietary or food service experience preferred
Must be 18 years or older to apply
