Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. This 12-month position will support the Head of School in managing school operations, fostering a positive school climate, and enhancing the educational experience for students. The ideal candidate is passionate about education and committed to upholding the values and mission of our Christian community.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the Head of School in overseeing daily school operations and ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
· Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement and monitor instructional programs, academic standards, and student assessments.
· Support the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
· Assist in managing student behavior and disciplinary actions in alignment with school policies and Christian values.
· Engage with parents and the community to build strong relationships and support student success.
· Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff and encourage continuous improvement.
· Contribute to the planning and execution of school events and activities that enhance the school’s mission and community.
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field is required.
· Valid administrative certification or licensure as required by the state.
· Proven experience in school administration or a leadership role within an educational setting.
· Experience with preschool through middle school education is a plus.
· Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and student assessment.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
· Commitment to upholding Christian values and integrating faith into the educational experience.
· Ability to work collaboratively with diverse students, parents, and staff.
