Kendal at Oberlin's Nursing Department is currently seeking an LPN for full time 7:00pm-7:30am positions. Reporting to the RN Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing, this ever important position will promote and restore our residents' health by completing the nursing process in our Stephens Care Center. The LPN will be responsible for directing and developing staff, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members and providing physical and psychological support for residents, friends and families. Additionally, the LPN will be responsible for, including but not limited to:
- Reviewing, implementing and evaluating the residents' plan of care.
- Providing nursing care to residents who require specialized nursing care in collaboration with the nurse manager.
- Interpreting care to residents, their families, nursing staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team as appropriate.
- Accompanying physician on rounds when the nurse manager is unavailable.
- Assuring accurate communication to all team members concerning each resident's care/activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Must hold current license in Ohio in good standing.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- New grads are welcome.
