What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper position at #Kendal?
Full-time, 40 hours/week, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday. The rate of pay is $20.67 to $21.88, based on experience. Capable of operating all yard and maintenance hand tools and equipment. Must have general knowledge of building construction repair and maintenance, landscaping, property maintenance, snow removal, and general equipment maintenance and repair. Must possess a valid New York State driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles and equipment necessary to perform assigned duties. Basic computer/tablet knowledge for completing timesheets, work orders, and training. Must be able to work in all types of weather. Perform a variety of tasks involving maintenance of the grounds and buildings of the Kendal at Ithaca Community. This includes, but is not limited to landscape, property maintenance, moving, weed trimming, snow removal, drywall repair, and corrective and preventative maintenance of equipment and buildings. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule during winter months. Subject to flexible hours for facility needs, and emergency calls; working various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
